Ramesh Bhaiyya,

Good covergae. In fact, the two days just flew off what with so many Rafi Bhakts, so many Rafi songs, sumptuous food, nice arrangements, etc. Looking forward to next such meet. I am really enjoying the Vol. II of the MP3 after completing Vol. I. Very nice songs containing apart from the usual popular numbers, also some songs which were popular during the films release and some 'not heard at all' songs.

Rameshji thanks to you many times over for this lovely and eloquent reporting of our RAFI HOLIDAY's second day at Bangalore in the company of all the Rafi-bhakts. First and foremost, I accept with all humility the gracefulness of Anoop Kulkarni and you, besides Ravishankar, Suman Gupta and all the others from Bangalore for having readily accepted our idea of spending quality time with Rafi-bhakts of Chennai and Bangalore and for all the excellent arrangements that you all looked into. We have never been privy to such extravagant hospitilaity that you and all others in Bangalore extended to those of us who are from other cities. The oft used phrase "like minded persons" was all too evident for this was indeed a meeting of various music lovers with almost identical thoughts and perspectives. An exercise that would be so successful was never in doubt by any one of us, but the stupendous bang that it generated assures of better tidings for all the Rafi-bhakts in future. We intended to forget the rest of the world for two days and enjoy in total bliss some of the most fascinating works in Hindi film music and that is exactly how it turned out to be. We ran away from the complexicities of life in general and this short holiday that we afforded ourselves will last a lifetime of contentment. Thanks for your wonderful narration.
