rafi saheb is d only singer who taught all d upcoming singers that playback singing is not just singing d tune wid sur and taal,but its visualising the lyrics and tune and sing from d heart as if d singer is experiencing d situation.

It seems Rafi Saab was visualising Dev Anand’s expressions. Each and every word of the song looks like that. The mood of depression on the face of Dev Anand has been brought out nicely by Rafi Saab.
It is nothing but a tragi-comedy that one of the judges in a recent singing competition asked the participant why he had chosen such an easy Rafi song after he had completed the song. Such is the ignorance of todays judges of music competition
